Celine Shoes has a rich company history originally being founded in 1945. It was the end of the war and the world was waiting for a contemporary luxury shoe! Celine Shoes started the trend, after creator Celine Vipiana opened a boutique of children's shoes, called “Celine, Le Bottier Pour Enfants.” Celine Shoes quickly became successful because of their unique and custom built designs. The next revolution took place in the 1960's (of course) and Celine then introduced their woman's shoe collection, with special attention to sportswear and flat heels, including their bestselling Inca line. Celine Shoes expanded with other women's apparel in the 1970's, and introduced international stores in Monte Carlo, Geneva, Hong Kong, Rome and Toronto. More designs outside of shoes came in subsequent decades but Celine Shoes never stopped being about high quality shoes and continues to compete in the worldwide market.

Popular styles of shoes in the High Fashion line include Byblos in white or black, Manchu Softy, the Sandal, Manchu Spicy. (in a spicy silver shine) and Manchu Glossy in red. Celine also releases other lines, separated from the High Fashion name, with shoes such as the Byblos Sping, available in heels or flats.
